Lake Erie Islands Browns Backers Charities
Your support of this race is greatly appreciated as proceeds from the race will go directly to the Lake Erie Islands Browns Backers for their 2019 - 2020 charities. Each year the LEIBB contribute to local charities and scholarship funds, the Cleveland Browns Foundation, as well as to other charities that reach out to the club thoughout the year.
This past year, the LEIBB donated money to local, regional and national foundations and charities including the: Put-in-Bay Volunteer Fire Department, Put-in-Bay EMS, St. Paul's Episcopal Church Food Pantry, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Discretionary Fund, Island Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary, Ottawa County "Kids for Christmas" which will put food on the table and a present under the tree for local area families in need, Put-in-Bay Arts Council, Back to the Wild, Chestnut Mountain Ranch which is a Christ-centered safe haven for boys and families in crisis located in West Virginia, Cleveland Browns Foundation, and five Put-in-Bay High School scholarships. The scholarships included the Gustav Heineman Scholarship, Ricky Dysert Scholarship, Jer-Bear & Kurt Scholarship, Jeff Verhoff Scholarship, and one $1000 scholarship from the Lake Erie Islands Browns Backers.
The Lake Erie Islands Browns Backers are a non-profit organization established in 2001. Along with this race, funds are raised for giving to charties throughout the year and on a weekly basis during all of the Cleveland Browns football game parties and functions.
